My name is Amanda Rintisch. I received my Bachelor’s of Education and Master’s of Education both at the University of Alberta. I have been working in education for almost two decades across three school divisions in Alberta. During my long career, I have been a classroom teacher, professional practice lead, parent mentor and advocate, and more. The majority of my experience has focused on inclusive education work with children with a variety of educational, medical, or behavioural disabilities. I am a neurodivergent educational expert who is also a mom to neurodivergent children with disabilities. I have extensive experience navigating inclusive education both as an educator and as a parent advocate for my own children.
Hello
My Story
I started Infinitely Capable Consulting for professional and personal reasons. After working with students and their families for almost two decades; and experiencing the system as a parent of disabled children; I quickly saw the patterns of what was missing. While I cannot fill every gap in our imperfect system, I began to use my expertise and experience to support family, friends, and friends of friends.
“You should make a business out of this! So many people need your help!” became a common refrain I heard. So, I took the leap and launched Infinitely Capable in November 2024.
Drawing from my journey of transforming my personal and professional life through the lens of anti-ableism, neurodiversity, and the social model of disability, I have been supporting families in their own journey. If you are looking for someone to come alongside you as you seek to support and celebrate your unique child in reaching their full potential, I hope you will join us. When given the right educational, emotional, and physical support, every child is infinitely capable.
