Services

Having a knowledgeable expert on your team can help to ensure that your child has access to the right personalized supports and accommodations they need to reach their fullest potential.

I am here to help you understand the IPP or IEP or process (Individual Programming Plan or Individual Educational Plan depending on your school division).

I will help you through the process of understanding Psychoeducational reports and assessments, identify the right supports and accommodations to request on your child’s IPP/IEP, and support you in becoming the best advocate possible for your child. Your confidence and knowledge are the key, and we will build them together.

1 Hour Virtual Consult

Whether you are just starting out on the inclusive education journey, or your child has had an IPP/IEP for years, you probably have questions about how to best support them and how to advocate for the correct supports at school.

Perhaps your child’s school has recommended having them assessed and you have questions about the process and what that means for their educational future. Perhaps your child has had an IPP/IEP for several years, but you have always wondered if there was more that could be done to support them.

A 1-hour consultation may be the right starting point for you.

A 1-hour consultation could provide you with…

  • A clear idea of what to expect during the assessment process, questions to ask, and how to read and understand the reports you will be receiving.

  • What the IPP/IEP process will look like, how to identify and ask for the right supports and accommodations for your child, and what to do if you feel your child’s IPP/IEP is not the right fit for them

  • Where to access resources and supports that will assist you in advocating for your child, as well as resources you can provide to your child’s educational team
